Macau experience in one picture. :)
April 26
Arrived at Macau by 9 pm, rode on a shuttle bus to Venetian Macao, checked in our hotel room and had dinner at Venetian’s food court before going to sleep.
April 27
Went to San Malo by City Of Dreams shuttle bus. Stepped on a gold bar at Jackie Chan’s Casino. Ate at Mara Cafe. Went to The Ruins of St. Paul. Had a taste of every tasters available (beef jerky, egg rolls, the thing that looks like a polvoron and that thing covered with sesame seeds. YUM!) Had dinner at my sister’s sister in law’s house (what?!) And then went back to our hotel room.
April 28
Checked out of Venetian Macao. Ate at the food court of Sands Cotai Central (with our luggages) and then checked in at Sheraton Hotel. Went back to San Malo for shopping. Ate at Haagen dazs. Ate street foods (there’s this strange thing that I ate, it was long and white and it glides inside the mouth @_@). Went back to the street with lots of tasters. Dinner at the food court again (If you haven’t noticed, we spent the whole day eating).
April 29
Checked out of Sheraton Hotel. Rode on a bus to the China and Macau’s border gate only to go back to my sister’s sister in law’s house. They prepared hotpot also known in the Philippines as SHABU SHABU which was really delicious. Went to Royal supermarket and bought lots and lots of food (foodie alert!). Went to this shop where almost everything is at 10 patacas (their monetary unit). Had a walk at Macau’s residential streets. By 6:00 pm, we are already at Macau’s International Airport. Departed 9:50 pm, arrived at 11:50. Got out of the airport by 1 am because of the long line at the immigration.
Hoping for more travelling experiences. :)
Fun fact (Shared by my sister’s sister in law)
When someone asks where you live at Macau, you may answer Macau or Taipa. Macau is the center itself but when you say Taipa it’s at the Mini Vegas of Macau. (Do you get it? No? Okay.)
